Miscellaneous this and that....

Remember how i said we Ordered T-Shirts last week.  Well they came and unfortunately they were not up to the quality I feel would be acceptable.  We want to pass along a great product that you {all} would be pleased with while supporting our desire to help feed orphans.  So we took a step back...got a great referral to a somewhat local place (Metro Detroit) and I drove down on Friday for a quick meeting.  Hopefully by Monday I will have our quote and by the grace of God will order some shirts.  I will post the designs when we order....for a pre-sale.  That would be fun, wouldn't it?!

Our Sunday was busy and fun.  {The} Husband and boys received an awesome blessing to 4 free 50 yard line Detroit Lions tickets.  They brought a friend that is being lead in a very similar direction as our family and they had some awesome fellowship while watching the Lions win....shocking I know!  Who would have thought the Lions would win a football game....much less 2 out of 2. Okay wake up...I'm done talking sports!LOL...

The Boy had a football game on Saturday...they won. (for the record this isn't sports talk its mom talk. ) We ran into some friends on the football field.  It was good to see them...hadn't seen them since baseball.  I loved watching our boys play together....
We headed to Sams Club.  Ran into the family that took Desi to adopt her.  Finally {praise GoD} the adoption should be going through by Christmas or the new year at the latest.  I'm so happy for Desi.  She will be able to finally move on with her new life and blossom.  I was thinking about her around August 31st because that is the day exactly one year ago we took her into our care....this poor thing has been in the system before and now for over a year for the second time.  i just couldn't help but pray for her.  The song I use to sing to her has been on the radio a lot lately.   I can't help but pray when i hear it...I figure its God's way of reminding me, that while my physical job of being her mom is over, my spiritual job to pray for her isn't.   As we ran into the Mom she said Desi said the other day that she missed Mama Gina.  I can't honestly believe she remembers me.  She saw pictures of the kids and remembered them too.  I know that blessed my kids....as well as me.  A small impact on such a little person.  Praise God.

Well it's the beginning of the new week...Hopefully I'll be better at blogging this week....I think I'm more busy with the kids in school then when they were on summer break...

XOXO!
Gina
P.S.  Don't you just love this time of Year?!!  I sure do.
