Meijer meat deal....Worth going for!!

1/2 (half) pound of Naturewell beef from butcher counter priced 3.49 per pound=1.74

Then buy 2 bags of Dole salad lettuce on sale for .98 per bag = 1.96

So your first total out of pocket is 3.70

Heres the key...You get a 3.00 Catalina.... making it only .70 really....

Then you turn around and do this again but use your 3.00 reward for your next purchase to make your next purchase really only .70 out of pocket..... roll this deal as many times as you like...

So lets recap (cause I'm OCD like that!LOL..) for .70 you get 1/2 pound of NATUREWELL BEEF and two bags of DOLE SALAD....I rolled this deal 8 times...and now I'm left with a 3.00 Catalina good off my next purchase at meijer...Oh I suggest using the self checkout lanes...instead of dealing with bothered employees about us using too many deals at a time...

Pretty good if I do say so myself!!

So I've paired this deal up at meijer since theres so much salad and ordered more Salad dressing coupons from here but hurry theres only 22 coupons left....these will = free with overage at Kroger

Okay more deals to come later in the week!

Edy's Ice Cream 1.66 a half Gallon at Target... .67 cake mix and a personal note!

Went to Target tonight in hopes to find some patio furniture for our new house...I can't believe how much stuff is gone and it only went to 30% off...I was hoping it would be 50%....anywho, I ran on Targets website before I left and printed out two coupons...
Edy's Ice Cream which is on sale for 2.66 -1.00 printable here = Final price 1.66
And well since I only printed off one coupon and the kids saw we were getting Ice Cream I thought might as well get two...and I was so bummed that I didn't print more coupons I remembered that you can go to the registry kiosks and click on the Target symbol on the left side of the screen and click on Target.com shopping...once your on Targets website scroll down for Target grocery coupons click on that....a list of coupons will pop up you click print and then you choose which coupons you want then hit print again...and in 2 minutes out prints your coupons...you save money and time by doing it there! So I ended up at a kiosk printing another Edy's coupon to save 1.00 more...YAY!!

I also printed a Duncan Hines coupon for 0.50 off any baking item so I bought a cake mix for .67 after coupon...Nice!

Oh ya VG's is tripling again!! My friend said until middle of July..wahoo!! I'll post deals later...

So we moved into our new house this last saturday...We had sweet friends and family that came to help...What a blessing! Especially since my back has been out for almost a week....I feel like my butt is sitting on my hip! I look so weird...oh well, atleast the pain is starting to really go away...Thank you Jesus! So it was a bummer to move in pain, but again Thanks to my wonderful friends and family that it all got done..I still have tons of boxes to unpack but for now we know where our clothes are and theres a tv set up for the kids and we have our kitchen put together...so we can live like this for a while if need be until my back gets better...although if you know me I try to push through the pain and just get it done! I hate to sit and do nothing!LOL...Well I'm off for the night but I will publish more deals soon!

Raw milk??, Homemade bread, butter and buttermilk...And some great savings!

Okay, so I've been really thinking about this whole RAW milk thing..not pasteurized or anything...I can't believe its Illegal to buy it straight from farmers...my grandparents and great grandparents always drank there milk this way...Its probably the most economical way to not only get your milk, but make your butter, and have the buttermilk left over....I've been looking into it to see if there is anyway here in Michigan that we can buy this RAW mik....the only way I've found is if you purchase a share of a cow...It ends up being about 7.00 a gallon (they come in glass containers which is much healthier for us and our kids) but in that 7.00 a gallon, that is based on a 4 week month, and there could be a 5 week month here and there so it could go down to about 6.00 a gallon which is pretty close to what I pay at Kroger for Organic milk. Its funny that I've been thinking about this because my sister just came back from California and she was just talking to a friend of hers that is pregnant(you know we start thinking about things we normally wouldn't when were pregnant) and her friend recently started buying non pasteurized milk from a local dairy farm. She said the research she's been doing is showing that by pasteurizing and so on you actually take the nutritional nutrients right out of the milk....the statistics are crazy, so I hear...like only 10% in pasteurized to 100% in non pasteurized...so when my sister came home and was telling me about this I thought...hmmm I wonder if God is trying to tell me something. Especially since my sister and I haven't talked about this whole milk thing at all...And again the pros for me is that I can make butter and buttermilk and have healthier milk in healthier containers...It sounds like a win win to me...WHAT ABOUT YOU?? What are your thoughts? Have you or are you trying RAW milk? I'd love to hear your comments....

So kinda on that same note, we made homemade sandwich buttermilk white bread. We normally eat wheat bread only, but I only had white bread flour so I thought we'd try it. I was amazed at seeing this bread rise as much as it did....and to my surprise I didn't read the whole recipe before hand like you should, I know slap my hand! LOL...but It made two loafs! I was happy about that! So after making the two loafs of bread, I called my middle child in, his name means helper(boy does he live up to his name)and asked if he wanted to help with making butter...well following true to his name, I got a YES! So we got this recipe here and after following that recipe which was soo easy, we had butter! So for dinner we had chicken and steak(I don't like steak, so I make chicken for myself) plain rice, brocolli and homemade bread and butter....Oh man was dinner amazing! All I kept hearing is this bread and butter is amazing!! So I think I'm hooked at making bread...Its worth the wait and time....I'm thinking if I take a day a week, I could have a bread making day, make a couple of batches and some butter batches then we'd have homemade bread and butter for the week....I'll let you know how that plan goes! Although I think I'll have to continue to buy some bread at the store because like this last week at Meijer I got 3 loafs of bread and 3 loafs of buns all for .30 a loaf because they were on sale for 1.00 and I had .35 off coupons and my store doubles and I had 6 coupons...so when I have deals like those I will have to purchase them from the store...but when I pay full price for bread, I might as well make it, atleast then I know whats in it...

So I found a good W A L G R E E N S DEAL yesterday....

Colgate TOTAL toothpaste.... regular price 1.88
Coupon in ad for -1.00
And purchase coupon from here
FINAL cost is free ....I realize you have to pay .10 for the coupon and you have to purchase a minimum of 3, but I figured if you purchase those and you purchase something else at Walgreens you will mostly likely walk away with overage from that coupon which actually pays for itself that way...

TARGET DEALS...
Sunday we had to take a drive down to our families house and I wanted to stop at the Super Target, so we did, and I was expecting to get the Kashi Waffle deal and wouldn't ya know it they didn't have any there either! I'm kinda irritated cause I have four of these coupons and these coupons
Which makes them .29 each box after coupons....
The trick is to find them at your Target!

We also got the Banana boat trial size
.99
-1.00 off coupon from paper
.01 overage

Joint juice(Found in the water and juice isle next to vitamin water) .99 each
after this coupon and that coupon
FREE
Plus you'll get more coupons each week from them on a B1G1 and if you reprint the 1.00 off you could get more free...

There is another Kashi deal....
Kashi bars on sale at Target for 2.59 (give or take a few cents)
-1.50 off coupon here
Tota 1.09ish which is still a good deal for some healthy food!

Nexcare Bandages on sale 1.99 for 20 count
-1.00 coupon from here
-.50 off from Target mailer
TOtal .50

OR
Nexcare Bandages trial size .99
-1.00 coupon from here
Total .01 overage

And a freebee coupons for all you White Castle lovers..NOT me! HEre ya go...

Great savings week! Kids finished school, and I've been busy!

So this week was my normal grocery shopping week, and my goal was to spend the same amount 200.00 for two weeks worth of groceries but to increase my load by a ton...It helped that Kmart was doubling to 2.00 this week....even though they truely irritate me at that store...I never shop there unless they run the specials, but whats even more irritating is that if your not there the day they start doubling to 2.00 then you miss out on some great deals! I did get 75.00 worth of groceries there for 20.00 so it was good, but I should have gotten aprox. 100.00 for the same price, but they were out of the other items I had coupons for to make the items free! Okay enough about Kmart....(I feel like I'm cheating on Target...my favorite store!...I'll see you soon honey!) :) Okay so after my kmart stop, I went over to Kroger, since they were in the same area, and I came out 123.00 in groceries and I spent 43.00...This was a good week! I should mention in that total, that I purchased 10.00 deoderant (Tony needs the strong stuff!) 7.50 for razors, 8 bags of cheese retails for 24.00, 2 aveno lotions...retailing for 6.00 each, John Frieda conditioner which is 7.00, contact solution 7.00, dry idea deoderant 5.00 13.00 in hairspray in shampoo, A gallon of Organic Milk 5.50, 2 containers of Juicy Juice juice boxes 10.00 retail... See pics...

I should mention that my kroger and kmart both take internet grocery coupons, which have helped tremendously! I also made another trip to kmart I walked out with two deoderants, on mens shaving gel, axs conditioner, 4 boxes of general mills cereal all for 4.50! It was great!! And best of all, when I went to kmart earlier in the week, they gave me two coupons, one for 1.00 off my next purchase, and the other for 1.50 off general mills cereal, and guess what...they doubled them! I thought that was funny....you give me another couple of coupons and then double them.....LOL.... Oh and one last note I went to Meijer and bought 4 lysol kitchen and bath and all in one cleaners they were all 1/2 price and with my .50 off each coupons and meijer mealbox coupon if you buy 4, I paid $.15 for each Lysol spray...I was soo excited about that one!!

So the kids finished school....I was happy yet sad...happy we made it through a 3/4 of a home schooling year, 1/4 christian school, but sad to see them moving on from 3 grade to 4th and 2nd grade to 3rd and preschool to kindergarden....I'm sad they are growing up before my eyes...one thing I have learned this year, I love my kids dearly, I would lay my life down for theres...I'd do anything for them....but I have learned that I don't want to home school them again....It was a interesting experience, and if I HAD to do it again, I guess I would, but my choice is for the Christian school full time this year, and the rest of there schooling education...We'll see...God knows whats best and He will provide for them to go there if its HIS will....
Heres my 3rd going to 4th...

Heres my 2nd going to 3rd..

Heres my prek going to K...

And So I've been busy...making Em's last day of school outfit...pictured above....packing, sewing orders, packing somemore, sewing somemore....and spending time with the kids...I hope to make it a fun summer....I'm a little stressed trying to get everything done, we move in 2 weeks...family is coming in town this coming week...so not much will get done then, and then we have 1 week til we move...ahhh!!! Now I feel better! LOL....
XOXO!!
